Digerati Technologies re-appoints Mr. Arthur L. Smith as CEO

SAN ANTONIO, TX – August 15, 2024  – Digerati Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: DTGI) (“Digerati” or the “Company”), a provider of cloud services specializing in Unified Communications as a Service (“UCaaS”) solutions for the small to medium-sized business (“SMB”) market, announced today that  Arthur L. Smith has returned from his temporary medical leave of absence and has been re-appointed as CEO of Digerati Technologies, Inc.

As previously disclosed, Mr. Smith took a temporary medical leave of absence from his role as CEO in October 2023, and Craig K. Clement, the Executive Chairman of the Company, was appointed as interim CEO.  Effective August 6, 2024, Mr. Clement relinquished his temporary appointment as interim CEO of Digerati and the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Company approved Mr. Smith’s return to his role as CEO.  Mr. Smith will continue to also serve as a director and Mr. Clement will continue to serve as Executive Chairman of the Board.
